Blurred figures float on a field of black, evoking emotion and memory. Some pictures make you feel good. The subjects are at home, comfortable, content. In opposition are images of unsettled characters: afraid, threatened or threatening. The series speaks of the quest to feel at home in the world, and of those of us who feel threatened, even alien. The prints sizes vary from small (image size 3.7" x 4.95", print size 11" x 14") to large (image size 14" x 18", print size 16" x 20"). In exhibition the varying image size and grouping of photos adds tension and speaks of relationships. Stories emerge from the subconscious of the viewer.
